      • Sponsored by the Greenwood Library, Cormier Honor’s College, and the Residential & Commuter Association. Join us for a fun evening of games and prizes.

SATURDAY, SEP. 14

  • 12 p.m.
    • Interactive Chemistry Demonstration | Beale Plaza
      • Chemistry students will demonstrate how to make oobleck, a non-Newtonian fluid that behaves like a liquid and a solid. Audience members will be able to make their own oobleck and take it home with them.
  • 1 - 2:15 p.m.
    • Longwood Music Showcase | Jarman Auditorium
      • By providing a strong foundation in music theory and history as well as a wide variety of performance opportunities, Longwood’s Department of Music is preparing the next generation of musicians to take leadership roles in schools, on stage and behind the scenes. Prepare to be wowed by our students as they show off their talents in our annual Music Showcase.

    • Pottery Class w/ Professor Adam Paulek | Bedford Hall
      • Join Professor Adam Paulek inside the Bedford Hall Art Building as he leads you through a pottery course inside our state-of-the-art pottery studio.

    • Robert Russa Moton Museum | 900 Griffin Blvd
      • The Robert Russa Moton Museum, affiliated with Longwood University, is a beacon of civil rights history. Join us and engage with the permanent exhibition, Moton School Story: Children of Courage. Learn about our community’s involvement in the historic Brown v. Board of Education decision, and hear how Prince Edward County officials chose to close the schools in 1959—and keep them closed for five years—to avoid complying with the Brown decision.
